The surrounding ocean adds a Yesodic dimension. The sea symbolizes the subconscious, psychic sensitivity, emotional memory, and the fertile matrix from which manifestation arises. The crowned mermaid represents sovereignty over both emotional and material resources. She is comfortable in her environment and does not depend upon outside approval to recognize her value.
